City walks with context.
For visitors who want a slower, more intelligent way to understand Saigon without turning the day into a classroom.
SaigonWalks is rooted in Saigon, but the method is larger than the city: walks, stories and field trips that help travellers read how places work on the ground.
A good route does not need to cover everything. It needs a strong line of inquiry, enough movement to reveal contrast, and enough restraint to let people notice what is already there. Our work begins in Saigon, then follows the wider systems that shape Vietnam and Southeast Asia: streets, markets, rivers, kitchens, ports, belief, migration, climate and everyday adaptation.
For visitors who want a slower, more intelligent way to understand Saigon without turning the day into a classroom.
For educators, cultural groups and curious travellers who need compact routes or story-led frames around food systems, migration, urban change, ritual spaces, rivers or neighbourhood life.
For travel partners and group operators who need experiences that feel grounded, specific and locally designed rather than assembled from generic stops.
SaigonWalks gives a public, street-level view of how Scivi designs experiences: start from the field, read the context carefully, and avoid reducing Vietnam or Southeast Asia to a list of attractions. This approach also supports Vietnam Group Operator’s custom group itineraries for alumni, culture, food, heritage and special-interest travel.
We do not begin with a script and then force the place to fit it. We begin with what can be observed: where people eat, trade, worship, remember, gather, move and adapt. From there, we decide what kind of route the place can honestly support, what should be left out, and how much context a group can absorb without losing attention.
Send your group profile, timing and purpose. We can suggest a private walk, a story-led route, or a field format that fits a wider Vietnam or Southeast Asia program.
Operating clarity
SaigonWalks is a field-studio project by the Scivi team. For educators and faculty-led programs, routes can be developed through Scivi Travel. For alumni, affinity and specialist leisure groups, wider Vietnam operation can be handled through Vietnam Group Operator.
