1. Scope of services
SaigonWalks designs and coordinates private walks, short field routes and custom Ho Chi Minh City experiences around markets, foodways, Chợ Lớn, migration, religious spaces, architecture, waterways and everyday urban life.
Our role may include route design, inquiry handling, guide or route coordination, local arrangements connected to the experience, and on-the-ground support for the confirmed route.
Educational, partner or wider group program inquiries may be handled under the relevant Scivi Travel or Vietnam Group Operator proposal, agreement or terms where applicable.
2. Inquiry and confirmation process
Submitting a form or sending an inquiry does not create a confirmed booking. All SaigonWalks arrangements are handled manually.
A walk, field route or custom experience is confirmed only after the route, timing, price, participant details and any relevant conditions have been agreed in writing by email, message or other direct communication.
3. Route structure and adjustments
SaigonWalks routes are designed around real city conditions. While we aim to deliver the agreed experience as planned, timing, stops, order, route flow or content may be adjusted when necessary because of weather, traffic, access restrictions, public events, safety considerations, participant needs or other local conditions.
We will make reasonable efforts to keep the experience close to the agreed purpose and to provide suitable alternatives where possible.
4. Minimum notice
Private walks and custom routes require reasonable advance notice so that we can confirm guide availability, route suitability and operational details. Same-day or short-notice requests may not be available.
For custom city routes, educational field routes, partner inquiries or larger groups, additional preparation time may be required. Specific notice requirements will be discussed case by case.
5. Payments and pricing
SaigonWalks does not process payment or booking directly through this website. Pricing, payment method, deposit requirements and payment timing, if applicable, are communicated manually after an inquiry has been reviewed.
For group, partner or educational arrangements connected to Scivi Travel or Vietnam Group Operator, payment terms may be governed by the relevant proposal, invoice or agreement for that program.
6. Changes and cancellations
Change and cancellation terms depend on the type of arrangement, group size, timing and any committed local arrangements.
For private walks, cancellation and change terms will be communicated before confirmation where applicable. For custom routes, partner programs, educational field routes or wider group arrangements, the cancellation terms in the relevant Scivi Travel or Vietnam Group Operator proposal or agreement may apply.
We reserve the right to adjust, postpone or cancel a route if weather, safety, access, health, operational or local conditions make delivery inappropriate or impractical. Where possible, we will discuss alternatives with you.
7. Participant responsibilities
Participants are expected to arrive on time, follow reasonable guidance from guides or route staff, respect local customs and laws, and inform us in advance of relevant mobility, dietary, health or comfort considerations.
Participants remain responsible for their personal belongings, personal conduct and compliance with any local site rules or safety instructions.
8. Health and safety
We design routes with care and make reasonable decisions around pacing, access and local conditions. However, city walking experiences involve normal travel risks, including traffic, uneven surfaces, weather, crowds, food-related considerations and changes in local access.
We may alter or stop a route if safety or operational conditions require it.
9. Force majeure
SaigonWalks and Scivi Travel shall not be held responsible for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, public health events, government restrictions, transport disruption, political instability, site closures or other unforeseen local circumstances.
10. Use of website
The content on this website is provided for general information about SaigonWalks, our city stories and our Ho Chi Minh City experiences. You may not copy, reproduce or use our content for commercial purposes without permission.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaigonWalks and Scivi Travel shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of opportunity, travel disruption, dissatisfaction with subjective experience, or changes caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
While we carefully design routes and coordinate local delivery, we are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, including transport delays, weather conditions, government actions, participant conduct, access restrictions or unforeseen local circumstances.
12. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Scivi Travel operates, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
